Introduction

Intelligent Business Platforms LLC (Intellibus) is committed to protecting your personal data. As a prize winner in the Intellibus Hackathon 2025, additional personal data will be required to process your award. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, store, and protect this information.

What Additional Personal Data Do We Collect?

In addition to the data collected during registration and participation, prize winners may be required to provide:

• Financial Information: Bank account details for prize payments.
• Tax Information: If required by financial regulations or applicable laws.
• Employment Details (if applicable): If the prize includes a job offer with Intellibus.

Purpose of Processing & Legal Basis

How Long Do We Keep Your Data?

• Financial data will be retained for 7 years as required for financial recordkeeping.
• Tax-related data will be stored for the legally required period.
• General event-related personal data will be deleted within 6 months after the event, unless otherwise required for legal purposes.

Who Do We Share Your Data With?

• Financial institutions involved in processing prize payments.
• Regulatory authorities (if tax reporting is required).
• Intellibus Hiring Team (if a job offer is extended and accepted).

All data transfers are safeguarded in compliance with the Jamaica Data Protection Act (JDPA) 2020.

• Right to access: Request details on how your personal data is processed.
• Right to rectification: Request corrections to inaccurate personal data.
